Tonight we are at a club. The room is alive as we sit making merry around tables. Smoke fills the air. The musicians sing and play. Everyone is happy, having fun. On this evening we can leave our troubles behind us. This was a moment in time many many years ago. Long before I was born. But I know this room existed. I know these people existed. I can feel their joyfulness in my soul. That night they were happy. That night they were alive.
